I live in the New Orleans area. When Hurricane Katrina came
our way I lived as an evacuee, a refugee, and a returnee. My home
and property received wind damage and my office
was flooded. I know several who lost everything they had. Its to them, and all
who suffered and continue to suffer losses that I give my best
wishes, my hope, my faith, my prayers.
Many friends from around the world have sent their regards to all who were affected. In early October I received an email from an aquaintence in Florida who wrote... "...in my spare time, I write songs. This one's for you and the others affected by this tragedy... feel free to pass it on. The copyright is free and intended for non-profit purposes only. It's been played on a few Central Florida radio stations and performed at a couple of local benefits. It's helped to raise over $4,000 from my school alone, (I'm a HS teacher). 100% of all donations have been donated to the Red Cross. We're all honored to do what we can. Good luck." The song he sent was very inspirational, so I added some photos to it and would like to share the movie with you. Written by Don Burnning
